Was this move covered in the ebook? I couldn't find it and this seems like the natural attempt to me...f4 just helps put logic behind black's opening in...

I've been playing the following against the Alekhine, mainly in 5 minute games (on ICC) but wonder if the gambit would stand up in serious games?
