Well, I think that if Black accepts the gambit white gets a slight advantage.

1. e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 a6 4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.0–0 f6 6.d4 Bg4 7.c3 exd4 8.cxd4 Qd7 9.h3 Bxf3 10.Qxf3 Qxd4 11.Rd1

1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 Bb5 a6 4 Bxc6 dxc6 5 O-O f6 6 d4 Bg4 7 c3 exd4 8 cxd4 Qd7 9 h3!?

This move, introduced by Fischer against Gligoric in 1966 has caught my eye.  I'm afraid I doubt the compensation that white can get for the pawn in the event of Bxf3.  To add to my doubts, no one ever had the audacity to accept this pawn offer against Fischer, so I can't see how he would've handled it!  From chessbase.com, I've found 4 games in which black takes the pawn.  In all four, I seriously doubt the viability of this gambit.  Could someone enlighten me?
