Now the link is working fine  Smiley

The feed about info concerning latest updates is also on display. Actually I think since a rather long time ago (as long as I remember (but my memory isn't what it has been))  Cool

Latest version of IE on the PC and Safari on the Ipad. Same error on both.

It looks like they don't like '&' so I've removed it, is it better now? I can see it on IE ok at the moment.

Cannot see any on the Forum page.

What I meant was that next to 'Good afternoon ...' at the top of every Forum page it says 'Latest Updates' and underneath it is the ChessPublishing feed (or at least the most recent ones). Wink

Latest version of IE on the PC and Safari on the Ipad. Same error on both.

On top rigt side of the page I see the RSS Icon. Do I need an app to read it?
When clicking on the Icon I get "Cannot open the page. It is a link to a RSS-stream. Do you want to search for an appto read RSS-streams?"

I'm using Sage RSS reader (Firefox plugin) and the feed can't be read by it.

Sorry but I get the same error

Which program do you use? Incidentally, the feed should also be shown at the top of all the Forum pages. Smiley

Sorry but I get the same error. In Swedish "Denna feed innehĺller kodfel." and free translation "this feed contains code in error"

I also only get an error message. Something like : "Error in the code."

I've just had a look at the code with a validator, it seems it didn't like an apostrophe, and also a dash, so I've altered these. Hopefully it is OK now?

You need something capable of reading the RSS, but soon a lot of email clients and browsers will be capable of doing this automatically - IE7 beta 2 is very RSS orientated, for instance.
Yes, the email notification system is good, but these days what with email filters, Spam blockers, Trojan horses, etc... the web is moving to RSS Feeds as they reach the readers' screen directly - and we can't be accused of spamming as it is the end-user who decides whether to subscribe to the RSS or not! Is it supposed to be a marquee or something? I only see a page of code (with FireFox), but as I already get an email notification I don't really see the point - unless it's meant to tempt more people to subscribe?

RSS feed for Chesspublishing

I was thinking of adding an RSS feed to the site which would mostly say when new updates were online. Cool
Two questions: would anyone find this useful? (I guess you would need a very recent browser?!)
What other information would people find interesting?
