Is just a Chessbase or PGN file ok?

We don't use proprietary formats; only pgn.  Let me know when you have something ready.  I'll have to readmit you.

Great.  When you are ready to post it, message me and I'll make you a member again.

The group has been moribund, though I expect it to perk up since I myself am continuing my study of this defense and I intend to share my notes.  But you perhaps were not checking the email that you used to register, since there has been a little conversation lately.

I completely forgot about the group :p  I have some old main line (4. Nf3 Bg4 5. Be2 e6) analysis that I wanted to post but the move orders needed sorting out.

The working group has just been reduced to those six players who have ever contributed anything to the analysis of the defense, plus one master-level player who has assured me that he plans to contribute in future.

Membership in the group is fully open, but don't join if you don't want to do any work.

No hard feelings about those just excluded; feel free to join later, dear chessfriends, if you want to pitch in.

The membership of the working group will very shortly contract to the five or six people who have ever contributed comments or analysis.  I used the group email to notify people of this, but I mention it here just in case anyone missed it.  I don't think it's useful for a working group to have members who don't do any work.

But if anyone wants to join and is willing to help out, supplying data; doing analysis; offering insights; or commenting on other people's analysis; just message me here, or use google groups to request admission.

Does one need to learn a secret Alekhine handshake as a part of this underground society?  Smiley

Just knock three times and ask for Markovich. Smiley

After a long hiatus there are signs of activity once more at the working group. This prompted me to examine the recent game Velimirovic-Cmilyte, in which the old attacking maestro employed one of his old weapons in the Four Pawns Attack. I've attached the game with some brief notes.

This game is now discussed and commented by GM Lubosh Kavalek at

Hello,

Sorry to start a new thread on this -
I would like to join this group, if somebody would show me how.

Thanx in advance

It's a google group, so you will need to have / create a google mail account. The group can be found under Google / More / Groups.

But you could also contact the "owner" of the group Mark Morss by sending him a personal message via the PM facility here at the Chess Publishing Forum, asking to join the group.
