My vote is for Avrukh's Grandmaster Repertoire two-volume series on the Grünfeld Defence, published by Quality Chess.

+1. Flear stated that Avrukh's 1.d4 GM Repertoire Volume One book was the best opening book of the last ten years, but this book is even better again. Maybe Avrukh has solved chess  Grin

Hi,

It's that time of year again! It's time to start discussing the best books of 2011. I know, not all chess books have been published yet, but most have. We won't begin voting on the best books until ~February, but we can start discussing candidates now.

What are some of the best chess books published in 2011?  (They must be new books, not reprints or translations.)
