Thank you guys. I can't find anything about this line in my books. I know game Botvinnik-Tal so i'll try to analyse it.

It's called the Uhlmann variation, one way to play is the simple 7.Bg5 h6 8.Bh4 g5 9.Bg3 Nh5

Hi guys!
How black should proceed? I played a6-Rb8 and then b5, but maybe plans with Na6-c7 are better?

As you suggest, it isn't particularly critical and presumably all or most of the usual ideas for Black will be playable.

Retrieving games from a database and playing through them to see what ideas have been tried and how they worked would be a means of exploring the position.

Hi guys!
Someone just played against me 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 c5 3. d5 e6 4. Nc3 exd5 5. cxd5 d6 6. Nf3 g6 7. Bg5 Bg7 8. e3 . I was black. What is current state of theory in this line? It looks for me not abitious at all. How black should proceed? I played a6-Rb8 and then b5, but maybe plans with Na6-c7 are better?
