I think there's nothing wrong with it, it's just a bit more risky to play, but if you know the right moves then black is better

After 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd4 4.Nxd4 Bc5 5.Be3 Qf6 6.Nb5!? Bxe3 7.fxe3 Qh4+! 8.g3, 8...Qd8 is the usual recommendation but what's wrong with 8...Qxe4? For example, 9.Nxc7+ Kd8 10. Nxa8 Qxh1 11.Qd6 Nf6 12.Nc3 Qf3 13.Qc7+ Ke7 14.Qf4 Qxf4 15.gxf4 Kd8=+.
