I went through Amazon out of sheer boredom, and jotted down a list of opening books that were published this year. Thought it might jog people's memories as to what was up for nomination for this year. The publication dates won't be exactly accurate - this is based off when they were available for purchase on US Amazon, which is typically a month or two off - if I remembered anything specifically coming out in a specific month, I backed it up. Around March or so I also started to run into books that I knew for a fact were published in late 2013, and so I stopped - it became too tedious to sort them out. Here's the list:
