Russian system Budapest-like TN on move 8

Black has a Budapest-like TN on move 8 of the 7...c6 line against the Russian System.  After 8.Be2 Black can play 8...e5!? and first did in a low level (both players under 1900) correspondence game.  Otherwise it's only other appearance was earlier this year in a high level game (both players over 2400) which I give below.  Interestingly, Eric Schiller wrote in his 2011 book on the Russian System that 7...c6 "limits the options of the Pe7"  but he is wrong at least with regard to the 8.Be2 line (8.Bf4 on the other hand does prohibit ...e5)

Actually for some reason the pgn viewer doesn't like pgn I got directly from chessbase, but in any case you can search chessbase online (https://database.chessbase.com/) for the following sequence: 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 d5 4. Nf3 Bg7 5. Qb3 dxc4 6. Qxc4 0-0 7. e4 c6 8. Be2 e5
