Instead of 4.Qc1 the alternative 4.b3!? is not bad either.
Either way White will continue with c4 when the queen could prove to be in the way on b6.

1.d4 d5 2.Bf4 c6 3.e3 Qb6 4.Qc1 followed by c4, later a pawn storm with c5 and b4 etc. The Queen is not that bad on c1 in that line and Qb6 has to move.

I have a reasonable repertoire going for the London System, but there are a few lines that are ruining the opening for me! One of those is 2. c6! Then Qb6 happens.

What is the best solution to tackle this?
