I play the 7...Qe8 too. And I would like to know also which line is the critical one on this system. Theoretically speaking, maybe is 8.Re1 Qf7 and a quick e4 (gambiting c4), but it's a total mess where the more prepared player will remain on top, so it's not a problem for me (I like to stydy my openings). It would be a problem if there were a positional-type of recipe line, like "White puts the rook on X, puts the bishop on Y, cuts Black's counterplay and is slightly better".
