10. Rg1 Nc5 transposes to the Krasenkow line after 11. h4, so it doesn't have any independent significance to his recommendation.

10. Rg1 Kh8 followed by ...f5 is the problem, where the R actually finds itself misplaced by going there so early. It may not be readily apparent, but black gains an obnoxious Qh5 resource due to the absence of the Rh1.

10. Rg1 Na6 11. h4 transposes to a different line that's supposed to be good for white.

I've done more private analysis on Krasenkow's immediate h4, his idea is correct/more accurate, but white has to have the variation prepared well ahead of time and know the right ideas (key line white later plays Ng5 and sacrifices 2 pawns for a huge attack - not something players will jump into OTB without foreknowledge, at least I wouldn't because the power of white's attack isn't readily apparent at all).

It took me awhile to work it out, but his conclusion that white's attack is dangerous is correct.

Maybe a white player will step up to the plate with something...
