The game went 9...Nec6  10 Bf4 d6 11 a3 de 12 ab ef 13 b5 Ne7 14 Be4 c6 15 bc Nbc6  16 d5 ed 17 cd Ne5.
Here I played Qd4 and after N7g6 I thing black where ok with my bad king side.
Then I had a passed  d6 and bad king side (this helped black to draw since I sacrificed a Rook at Ng6 and take at Ra8 and a7 etc...having play with d6 etc but a bad king and problems with mat)
Thanks, I underestimated B:f3
[edit:My opponent were a  child, another child possibly from the same club played this opening-then I won playing against black king-so maybe a teacher told this opening  Smiley ]

Instead of 8.Ne2?, destroying your entire kingside pawn formation, White can obtain a clear advantage with 8.Be4!, e.g. 8...Be4 9.Ne4 Ng6 10.d5!? and Black's position is a disaster.

Instead of 6.Nf3, I'd prefer 6.f4 with the intention of meeting ...de5 with fe5. Then Black will not have any counterplay and will be forced to defend passively, e.g. 6...d6 7.Nf3 Nh6 (7...c5 8.d5) 8.Be3 Ng4 9.Bg1 Be7 10.Qd3 Nd7 11.0-0-0 and White is much better.

All our dreams come true if we have the courage to pursue them.

What is the best reaction to 1.c4 Nf6 2.Nc3 b6?
I played yesterday 3.e4 Bb7 4. e5 Ng8 5d4 e6 6.Nf3 h6 7.Bd3 Bb4 7.0-0 Ne7 8 Ne2 (error?)B:N 9.gf etc .
I thing white here is big better (is not it?) but the game drawn after some mistakes and a complicated middle game.
Is this white play good?
