Jones annotated this game at recent subscription update. He thinks that 18 .. Qa8 was good for white is white had played 21 gxf5 instead. He thinks that 18 .. b4 is more accurate.

For my part I have not seriosly analysed this game yet since I order a new computer (my old is from 2007) and it has not arrived yet.

For what it's worth, the round report (by Stellan Brynell) says that Grandelius started thinking after 18. Re3 (Karjakin played 18. g4 against Shirov in 2009).
Brynell's co-commentator Ulf Andersson considered Leko-Grandelius the round's best game.

Nice game; with a high probability, Grandelius had the rook endgame analysed at home.
Leko will have problems to hold his 2700+, when I look at this game and his game against Hector.

The older, the better - over 2200 and still rising.
