The Benko after 2.Nf3...Tips and discussion
After 2.Nf3 should Black play 2...g6 or 2...c5? After 2...g6 I could play ...Bg7, d5 against the London and other slower d-pawn setups, which I prefer. After 3.c4 c5 4.Nc3 I enter a version of the S...

benko is boring nowadays
I have played benko 28 years. In the good old days people took the pawn and I was winning almost every game. Many players avoided it against me and played e.g. 2.Nf3. Nowadays benko feels very differe...

Benko question against 1.d4 2.Nf3
So is there still a possibility to transpose into a benko after
1.d4 Nf6 2. Nf3 g6 3. c4 c5 4.d5 b5 or why is it said benko wouldn't be possible after 2.Nf3? Started 09/18/09 at 14:40:59 by battleangel (Ex Member) |

Benko - King Walk Move Order
Since Black seems to be in relatively rough shape in the 12.a4 line - I got to thinking about move orders to avoid it, and I wonder about:
