Nigel Davies: 1...d6 Universal
No one's commented yet on this DVD, upcoming. Usually news travels fast.
A good question is how does Davies propose avoiding a simple transposition to a KID, since after 1.d4 d6 2.Nf3 , e5 is at ... Started 09/08/07 at 01:26:33 by ghenghisclown « Pages 1 2 3 all » |

2.Bg5 in the Dutch
Is the 1.d4 f5 2.Bg5 all it's hyped up to be as a destroyer of the Dutch? I like it that White does not allow Black to play a normal Dutch but is there a line that Black can use to wriggle out a =+ o...

Following a recent exciting (to me!) thread on 1 d4 Nc6 2 d5 (http://www.chesspub.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1271505369/0), I’ve been asking myself how Black should handle the position after 2 Nf3 ...
