Black against 1.c4 and 1.Nf3

But as my ...

English Opening
Can someone give me the names of some famous players who used/use the English opening? Any game collections that have lots of good English opening games? Thanks for your help.

English Opening: 1.c4 2.?
I am looking for opinions on the "best" or "favored" second move in the English.
After 1.c4 e5 do you prefer 2.g3, 2.nf3 or 2.nc3.  I myself like 2.nf3 but that is fairly uncommon.

I am interested in independent systems starting with 1.g3. with this i mean to say no tranpositions into say the catalan or KIA. Are there any sound alternatives starting with 1.g3.
