Giuoco Piano sideline
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.c3 Qe7

Is the Modern Giuoco piano for attacking players ?
I've always considered the "d3 giuoco piano" as a boring opening, being myself an attacking player, enjoying complex positions with sacrifices. But I'm getting tired of the KG, the Evan's, & ...

1.e4 e5 2.Sf3 Sc6 3.Lc4 Sf6!? 4.d3!? Be7!?
I heard Davis recommends this line in his book for black. I play this line with black too.
After 5.0-0 0-0 white has 4 options:
A) 6.h3 B) 6.Bb3 C) 6.c3 D) 6.Re1
In my view black can pl...

Why play 1...e5 and what to paly against Italian.
I have some questions about  1...e5.  Why play 1...e5 and what is to be preferred against the Italian game. Two knights or 3...Bc5.  ?
Thanks for any opinion.

I recently had to play the position after 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.d3 Bc5 5.Nc3 d6 6.Bg5 h6 7.Bh4
I thought that white had to play 7.Bxf6 in order to avoid his bishop becoming useless aft...

improvement in guioco piano moeller attack
Current theory says that black is clearly better in the moeller attack cause of 13.... h6 but I think a new move 14. Qb3! gives white enough compensation for the sacrificed pawn and a good game.
