Halkias-Aloma Vidal (Aix-les-Bains)
I wonder who wrote the comments to this game for the Chessbase site; they strike me as, well, not the most insightful/well-informed comments I've ever seen. A couple of examples: after 1.c4 Nf6 2.Nc...

I'm around 2100 Elo and interested to play the black side of the Reversed Dragon, that is 1. c4 e5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.g3 d5 4.cxd5 Nxd5 5.Bg2 Nb6
I'd appreciate one (or more) good book on the subject. I... Started 07/28/10 at 16:24:32 by Volcanor |

How about the Dragadorf Reversed?
When playing through the first moves of Anand-Topalov (11th game) I wondered how well Knight e4 would be placed on c4 instead. In other words, is a Dragadorf with colours reversed a viable idea?

Accelerated Keres System?
Can anyone help me with the following: 1. c4, e5. 2. g3, Bc5. 3.Bg2, Qf6. 4. e3, c6. 5. Nc3, Ne7. I find this difficult in that it is almost impossible to gain control of d5. In playing white, h...

Carlsen - Kramnik, London Classic
If anyone is interested, Magnus Carlsen played 1. c4 and Kramnik chose to enter the Reversed Dragon. If I wasn't at work right now I'd compare it with Marin, but here is the completed game:

English Botvinnik System
I have been interested in d6/e5, e5/d6, f5, Nf6, Be7 systems of late. MNb pointed out to me that in the English, 1.c4 e5 2.Nc3 d6 3.g3 f5 4.Bg2 Nf6 5.d3 Be7 6.e4 then the Be7 becomes passive. Anyone h...
