Is the London player hoping for this line?
1. d4 g6 2. Nf3 Bg7 3. Bf4 Nf6 4. e3 d6 5. h3 O-O 6. Be2 c5 7. c3 Qb6 8. Qb3 Be6 9. Qxb6 axb6 10. a3  and black has to be far stronger to win this position.

A. from Queen's Gambit Declined Bf4 variation.
