Just wondering what people thing about f3 against the Nimzo. Is it a decent try for white? It looks kind of interesting, but at the sametime, whites king is in the open in a few variations. Well if an...

6...d6 move order in the Qc2 Nimzo
Hi all,
I've been pondering the following move order for black: 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.Qc2 0-0 5.a3 Bxc3+ 6.Qxc3 d6 [IMAGE] On the one hand black can usually revert to 6...b6 lines, but has some additional optio... Started 09/18/07 at 06:39:39 by Bonsai |

Is the Zurich variation in the Nimzo indian theoretically any good? Statistics show black scoring quite poorly, even when both sides are equally rated, what could be the reason for this?

4.Qb3 Nimzo
What's the current status/opinion/evaluation on the 4.Qb3 Nimzo? Seems like an underrated line to me.

Nimzo 4.Qc2 0-0 subline with Qxc7, draw or more?
Hello,
An enterprising line for Black in the 4.Qc2 nimzo is 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.Qc2 0-0 5.a3 Bxc3 6.Qxc3 d5 7.Nf3 dxc4 8.Qxc4 b6. Black gains time on the Queen and jettisons the c-pawn, e.g. [b]9.Bg5 Ba6 1 Started 07/23/12 at 23:37:52 by zoo (Ex Member) |
