Gajewski 2.0
I didn't see anything mentioned on chesspub about the following very interesting game played in the last round of ENCI, see [pgn][Event "ENCI 2012"]
[Site "Maastricht, NED"] [Date "2012.05.28"...|/pgn] It looks like a Gajewski, it smells like a Gajewski and black is Gajewski but still it is not a Gajewski. I've been analyzing this new stunning innovation in detail for the last few weeks and published the summary of my analysis on my blog (because of the painful history on chesspub with copyright earlier). Ruy Lopez mainline rare idea
A long time back I read on chessbase.com about a rare move (...d5) being played by Magnus Carlsen in the very mainline. Black doesn't play d7-d5 in one go, instead he goes d7-d6-d5. Does anyone rememb...

Karpov variation
Hi,
I found only 1 game featuring the Karpov variation. What's the theoretical status of it? Are there important games to know and did anything appear on it lately? regards Started 10/24/08 at 20:30:43 by Nightlamp |
