Yes, I've sent Fed an email about this, but it is not that common at the higher levels these days.
By chance someone played it against me on Saturday last, I followed my recommendation in my Najdorf book, and won in 18 moves!

Najdorf 6.f4!?

I can't find 6.f4 mentioned in the Naj e-book - but it seems to crop up quite a lot.  I tend to play 6...Qc7 and then take it into a Dragon-type set up with ...g6 and ...Bg7 - reserving the option whether to play ...e5 until later.  Any views on the merits of 6.f4 and Black's various responses?  Also, Fed, any chance of working something into the e-book on this line - seems like a fairly significant omission ...
