My question to Tony and anyone who is interested in Anti-Gruenfeld line 4.Qa4+ There were several games commented on this site, but one of the critical variations was only mentioned in the comments to one of those games. I am talking about the variation with the queen sacrifice like in Kramnik-Ivanchuk game from Belgrade 1997:
1.c4 Nf6 2.Nf3 g6 3.Nc3 d5 4.Qa4+ Bd7 5.Qb3 dxc4 6.Qxc4 Nc6 7.d4 Bg7 8.e4 O-O 9.e5 Be6 10.exf6  Bxc4
11.fxg7 Kxg7 12.Bxc4 Nxd4 13.Nxd4 Qxd4 14.Be2 

The resulting position is difficult to play for White, they still have to coordinate their pieces, and Black don't have any weaknesses. I had a hard time with White in my only rapid game in that variation. In his game against Ivanchuk Kramnik was willing to play the line and in the end just missed the win. Could you look at that position in one of your updates? It's always interesting and useful to analyse the positions with big unbalances in material. Thanks again and take care !
