1.e4 c5 2.Ne2 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Bg5 e6 7.f4 Be7 8.Qf3 Qc7 9.O-O-O O-O recently came up in a game.   

Are there any tactical reasons why O-O is almost never seen?  I know it's definitely faulty strategically...Anyway, I continued with 10.g4 b5 11.Bxf6 Bxf6 12.g5 Be7 13.h4 (probably better is the corresponding f5! as seen in the modern mainline).   

Anything here that I'm missing?  Any better ways for white to play?  Common recommendations or continuations?
