Playing the knight so early to f3 is somewhat inflexible. After 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 g6 4.Be3 Bg7 5.Qd2 o-o
6.o-o-o c6 I think 7.f3 (Argentinian Attack) is preferable to 7.Nf3 and the first option is obviously not possible after 4.Nf3.
As AmateurDragoneer has pointed out, Black can prevent White from castling queenside with an early Qa5 in the 150attack - ugly name, English Attack sounds better.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

Colin McNab has faced this line several times against some top GMs (including Joel Benjamin and Mark Hebden) and has used the continuation 5...c6 6. Qd2 Qa5 after which white's best seems to be 7. h3 after which both 7...Nbd7 and 7...Na6 seem like plausible continuations (though the former appears to be more solid).

Move order in the Pirc 150 Attack

We all know, and especially Pirc players like myself, that in the 150 attack (1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 g6 4.Be3we'd better not put our bishop on g7 too early.

As I play the 150 attack as white agains my beloved Pirc I wondered if the move order:
1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 g6 4.Nf3 !? Bg7 5.Be3 would not be more dangerous for black?

Any ideas on this?

5...Ng4 does not seem to be very dangerous...
