your moves don't make sense. I presume you mean 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. Nf3 b6.

My favourite system for White is 5. Qb3 (5. Bg5 is too stereotyped for my tastes). White gets to castle queenside in some lines, and play becomes rather violent with chances for both sides.

Your gambit queen's indian book must have mentioned this move. I play the nimzo for the black side, and imho the complications after 5. Qb3 c5 are hairy enough for me to prefer Karpov's solid 5... Qe7 (which is perhaps not "theoretically" best).

Does anyone have a good way to play against this. I looked at Gambit's QI book and they have Bg5 as white main attempt but I really have don't like the amount of space black gets and the inevitable B for N trade after h6 and g5.
