Scotch Gambit, started by lil_jimmy. At the moment on page 2.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

This has been debated in another thread - forgotten which one. The conclusion was indeed: Black wins.

Two Knights Defence : An idea of Pinski

In his book " the Two Knights Defence" , Ian Pinski  discusses the variation :
1 e4 e5
2 Nf3 Nc6
3 Bc4 Nf6
4 d4 exd4
5 e5 d5
6 Bb5 Ne4
7 Nxd4 Bc5
8 Nxc6!? (?!) Bxf2+
and proposes the untried 9 Ke2 , with the line:
9 Ke2 Bg4+
10 Kf1 Qd7
11 e6 Bxe6
12 Nd4 c6 , and says Black has " long term counterplay"
This is no more untried , but I chose another line , that
Pinski did not consider :
10 Kf1 Qh4
11 Qxd5 Bb6!
12 Nd4+ c6
13 Qxe4 Bxd4
14 Qxd4 ( if Qf4 Bxb2!)  Be2+
15 Bxe2 Qxd4
16 Nd2 Qxe5
17 Nf3 Qc5
and B is probably winning ( although this ending is quite difficult )
Surely this line has been discussed , and played , before
Have you some games or analyses of this line?
