I don't play 6.Bg5 against the Dragon and I don't know any interesting ideas with it. 7.Bxf6 to disrupt the pawn structure isn't a big threat since Black is going to play 6.-,Bg7 anyway. The problem is that White has difficulties to keep the N on d4. After 6.Bg5 Bg7 7.Qd2 Nc6 neither 8.Nb3 or 8.Nxc6 promises White much. 

With 6.Be3 which is a better move White doesn't have to worry about Nc6xd4. That would give White a strong B on d4.

Hi i like playing the Bg5 vs the Najdorf and was wandering if any of my fellow players play Bg5 agaisnt the dragon and what are the ideas?
