At present i think 4....Nd4 is still quite good for black.
White will be put on the defense. 4..Bb4 seems
harder to play, and has been extensivily analysed by John Nunn.

After 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.Bb5 what is the cerdict at this point i happen to think it is a nice way to play the lopez with out knowing a lot of theory. I am seriously thinking of replacing my main line with the 4 knights variation. Are there any cons to this or is it a nice alternative. I know it is easier for black to reach equality so im looking for more of somthing like posistional defects.
