I remember taking a look at that book.  My impression was that it advocates a system which is inferior on its face.   In general terms:  suppose Black plays a typical setup starting with the moves  ...d5, ...Nf6, ...e6, ...Be7, ...Nbd7 and ...c5. In such a case, Qc2 plus 0-0-0 by White should hand Black a ready-made "avalanche" type attack, beginning with ...c4 (with tempo!), ...b5, etc.
