I just went over this line. Wow! I did not know anyone played this! Basically, your games are a transposition to the Zilbermints Gambit, 1 d4 e5  2 de5 Nc6  3 Nf3 Nge7  with ...a6 thrown in.  Back in 1994, I used to experiment with this line.

Keep up the good work!

By the way, where were your games played? Who were your opponents? You need to post that information.

part 2:

one good idea for white if accepting the pawn is to play 6.a3 to make it hard for black to develop his king bishop. it doesn't do well on c5, and it can be in the way of the queen on e7. black has to be careful against this move, because if he commits the king bishop or the queen before its clear what white's plan is, it quickly becomes a waste of time, or a horrible position. i play 6...Rb8, because  b5/Bb7 is often the best plan to force white off the white squares in the center. it also becomes useful for supporting a pawn on b4 in a lot of cases. here's 3 games with 6.a3.

there are of course other options than 3.dxe5. i have had people and machines play Nf3, Bc4, and f4 against me as well. Nf3 is the most common, and probably the hardest to deal with. its not as simple as black being down a move in a scotch/max/goring type system though. with the pawn on a6, black can play a supported b5 with tempo versus a white bishop on c4. also, without a knight on c6, black has the option of playing c5, or even c6, which sometimes comes into play. here's a good example of how much of a difference it makes:

anyways, i know this isn't particularly useful for anything, but hopefully someone finds it interesting. its fun to play in clubs or online.

quite a few months ago i made a post on these forums about an idea to use a6/e5 to transpose into lines of the englund gambit against e4 players. with a6 often being neccessary in the englund, a lot of times you could end up in the exact same position as the old main line, and in some lines, like the stockholm, you'd actually get a better game, because whites epawn would be better placed on e3. the idea was a bust due to the fact that a6 is of no use against the korchnoi line, and the bonus e4 accelerates white just enough that he can roll right over black.

since that time, i have played quite a few offhand games with 1.e4, a6 2. d4, e5 3. dxe5, Ne7. this isn't exactly something i'd recommend playing in a tournament, but its proven to be really interesting, and i thought i'd share some of my games. i call it the blob, because its very slow and visually unappealing.

in this opening, the doubled pawns on the efile somewhat clog and separate the board. once the pawn is reclaimed, the position unwinds and becomes open and rather trappy. from the black side, its imperative to improve your position as much as possible before recapturing the pawn, otherwise white's superior piece placement and/or development will crush you.

here's some of my games that are somewhat typical for the opening:
