Hy, in the game you give white has a completly winning position after 18.b3! and h4 h5 to follow with a attack and two ! pawns up. Even 18.ç3 is very good with 19.Qe2 to play 20.b3 against Qa4. When i propose your sacrifice at Fritz8, he prefers 12.Be2 to keep his dark square bishop.

Even though black was down a pawn, it shows that he has more than enough comp for it through his dragon bishop. there are only six games in the database on this line so i'll do my best to churn out some games.

If i'd be white i'd not open lines to my king without any thought! Computer engines love material and evaluate the sac unsound but often change their minds pretty easy after correct play. This line has been discusted in another thread and there some very interesting games were posted. Unfortunatelly white can sidestep this idea with the move order 10.h4 (sidesteping also Chinese and Topalov's line)

Hi guys! Try to investigate this option for black because i feel it has real practical value for black against a white player whose rating is below 2200. The moves are 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 g6 6. Be3 Bg7 7. f3 O-O 8. Qd2
Nc6 9. Bc4 Bd7 10. O-O-O b5!?
