Regarding 1.d4 d5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.e3 Bf5 4.c4 c6, you mentioned this transposes to the Slav but this system does hold out some propects for a White advantage. Palliser recommend this for White in his "Play 1.d4!" book.

	Hi, my question is : Is it possible to get some advantage as White against this line ? Some books gives 4.c4! (their exclamation mark) but.... a) 4...c6 transposes to Slav 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nf3 Nf6 4.e3 Bf5 and what now? b)4...e6 5.Qb3 Qc8 6.Nc3 c6 and what should White play? maybe 4.Bd3 is better ? Any suggestions please
