8....Ne5 9.Nxe5,dxe5 seems unusual indeed.
You might try 10.Be3 attacking c5 :
10.....Nd7 11.d6
10.....b6   11.Bg5 when d6 seems an unpleasant threat.

after 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. g3 Bg7 4. Nf3 O-O 5. Bg2 d6 6. O-O c5 7. Nc3 Nc6 8. d5

usually black respond 8...Na5, then 9.Nd2 and so on

but my opponent play 8... Ne5?! and I respond 9. Nxe5 dxe5


what's the plan for White here ? i go with 10.e4 but seems it's not so right. I feel that White rather not to advance his pawn e2-e4, but leave it at e2, and going for piece play.

What's your opinion about plan for white 10th move and so on ?
