great analysis u saw more than I, and yes I diid get rattled when my knight got to e5 and he just did not give up. I saw the h4 idea but felt that the piece sac was alway there to bail me out, thank god I won. maybe I will get a little respect from the regular masters I play. On the other hand my play is ok against gms biut rather poor against 2300 and under so I need to earn it first, cheers tony and thanks. Smiley

Yes, 35...Be6 was clearly mistaken. I hope to have the game online later today, when, hopefully, all will be revealed! Smiley

Let me add my congratulations!  Beautiful game!

I also know very little about the opening (every so often I am on the Black side of the 1...e5 English), but enjoyed the game and was very impressed by idea of the novelty setting up the positional pawn sac - and how smoothly you developed play on the c-file. and against Black's damaged queenside.

Two things I wondered when playing over the game:

Should Black considered trying to avoid the queen exchange by ...Qd4 (maybe immediately after 13.Ng5)?  It seems kind of counterintuitive for the side with the extra pawn to do this, but Black's prospects in the endgame didn't look too promising.

Maybe Black should have tried 35...c5 instead of 35...Be6 (after 36.Nxa5 in the game it seems like you have a pretty significant advantage and great winning prospects).  The idea would be 36.Rxc5 Bxa4 or if 36.Nxc5 Be8.  I think you would still have a pretty nice edge, but at least Black has avoided allowing the passed a-pawn.

Eric, I just analysed your game - lovely opening idea! Smiley How do you win after 88...Bc2 though, did Romanishin see anything clear? Undecided

Well, I already congratulated you. I cannot say much about the opening, as I know about nothing of it. Giving a pawn for Black's weakened pawns, including saying goodbuy to the typical Dragon bishop against such a strong opening is rather courageous. I would love to read your thoughts about 12.Bd2, as I suppose you had foreseen the position at move 16.
I also suppose you realised around move 36, that you had excellent winning prospects. Weren't you nervous? You had still a long way of 55 moves to go, with an experienced opponent trying everything to avoid the disaster. Still cool play by you. Something to show proudly to your grandchildren, when you are 80 (or so).
