I am not impressed. Black's main problem seems to be how to play for a win.

Einersen,E - Renman,N (2395) [C11]

1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.e5 Nfd7 5.f4 c5 6.Nf3 Nc6 7.Be3 a6 8.Qd2 b5 9.dxc5 Bxc5 10.Bxc5 Nxc5 11.b4 Nd7 12.Ne2 0–0 13.Ned4 Nxd4 14.Nxd4 Nb6 15.Bd3 Nc4 16.Qe2 Qh4+ 17.g3 Qe7 18.c3 Bb7 19.0–0 g6 20.h4 Rac8 21.h5 Nb6 22.hxg6 hxg6 23.Qg4 Rxc3 24.Bxg6 fxg6 25.Qxg6+ Qg7 26.Qxg7+ Kxg7 27.Nxe6+ Kf7 28.Nxf8 Kxf8 29.Kh2 Nc4 30.Rfd1 Ne3 31.Rd2 Nf5 32.Rg1 d4 33.Kh3 Kf7 34.Kg4 Kg6 35.Rf2 Rc8 36.Re1 Rc3 37.Rg1 Be4 38.Rd2 Bf3+ 39.Kh3 Rc7 40.g4 Rh7# 0–1

16...f5 looks good to me.
11.Qf2 Qb6 (Na4!?) 12.Bd3 b4!? (Rb8 13.o-o Na4) 13.Ne2 a5 14.o-o Ba6 idea 15...Ne7.
11.Nd4 Bb7 (instead of Bd7; f4-f5 does not look dangerous) 12.Qf2 Qe7 13.a3 (or Black will play 13...b4 and 14...a5) Nxd4 14.Qxd4 o-o with counterplay.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.
