I think the current theoretical verdit is still the "at least +=" noted by Markovich.  I know at one time A.Martin felt it was good enough to recommend on a King's Indian video.  Most lines recommended were offbeat btw.

i'm new to the king's indian and in a blitz game that I played followed this sequence:
1.d4 Kf6 2.c4 g6 3.Kc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.f4 0-0 6.d5 c5 7.Kf3 e6 8.Be2 b5
which I played without a clue if it was good or not(who cares?was a 2/0 internet blitz after all).
can someone help me to discover if this move is at least playable?
thanks in advance and apologies if my english is poor cause it's not my mother tongue

It is playable.  In Vaisser's book, it is considered suboptimal, at least +=.

The opinions seem to be:
Markovich thinks this is good for White.
I think it is playable. I have played it as Black a few times - a looong time ago and via the Benoni - and with success.
I cannot find the appropriate threads, but iirc it never has been debated in detail.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.
