Well, maybe we now know the identity of one of those guys on the net?  Cheesy

I did a wee bit of googling and found a couple of things that might be helpful:

apparently there is an ebook on it: http://www.chesscentral.com/cat/datlibrary.htm

and the following discussion might also be of interest: http://www.chessexchange.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=12028&sid=bd87da563d0fee409a7...

Btw, how come you ask about the Centre Game, are you planning to take it up or are you just annoyed by all the people on the net who play it in blitz and easily make the first 20 moves in 20 seconds?

I suppose you want info on 2...ed4 3.Qxd4 - otherwise (iirc) there's a book called Danish Dynamite dealing with various gambits after that move order.

Some years ago a local enthusiast, Per Sörenfors, published a little book on the 'Malmö Variation' 2...ed4 3.Qxd4 Nc6 3.Qa4 iirc he even made an updated english version, but it's probably out of print nowadays. And 3.Qa4 is probably not too good a move anyway...  Undecided

Btw, a couple of years ago PS published a white repertoire booklet where he among other lines, recommended 'The New Malmö Variation' 1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.d4 - which could be worth an occasional tryout perhaps?!
