Yes: you're much more likely to see Black play 7...c5 8.dxc5 Nc6...

save your time.
one, this line is fine for Black (at least), so you will be seachign for a nonexistant advantage. second, you will probably never reach this position OTB, because no one plays it with Black anymore because 9.f3 is good for White. this is the real reason the line is not seen anymore.

While doing some general opening study I came across this variation of the Nimzo 1)d4 nf6 2)c4 e6 3)Nc3 Bb4 4)Qc2 d5 5) a3 Bxc3+ 6)Qxc3 Ne4 7)Qc2 Nc6 8)e3 e5 9)cxd5 Qxd5 10)Bc4 Qa5+ 11)b4 Nxb4 12)Qxe4 Nc2++ 13)Ke2 Qe1+ 14)Kf3 Nxa1.

The text states 'Modern practice favors white.' It also goes on to say 'This is one of those positions where general principals are replaced by concrete analysis.' This really looks like a wild position to play as white. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this line as white? As of this time my study is better spent on other things but this position really grabbed my attention!
