The problem is that I like the variations after 10.0-0-0 much better then the variations after 10.g4,
I play 10.0-0-0 to get the main variation after 10. ... Nb6 11.Qf2 Nc4 12.Bc4: bc4: 13.Na5!?

What about delaying o-o-o and playing 10.a4 or 10.g4 and 11.a4 ?

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

interesting variation in English attack with ...e5

Today I had a game on the playchess server that began like that:
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cd4: 4.Nd4: Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Be3 e5 7.Nb3 Be6 8.f3 Nbd7 9.Qd2 b5 10.0-0-0 Be7!?

After the game I looked the variation up in Sammalvuo's excellent book about the English attack, but it only has a reference to a blitz game Svidler-Kasparov, Wijk aan Zee 1999 where black was better after 11.g4 Nb6 12.Qf2 Nfd7 ...

To be honest I don't believe that, but I am not sure what is white's most testing option against this system?!
Can anyone help me?
