Greetings,

nyoke
So, this to what you were referring when you answered my topic!

Looks as if no-one is familiar enough with it to comment on its quality.

It seems that we'll just have to buy a copy and see for ourselves!

Kindest regards,

Dragan Glas

Partly, Markovich, as it can also arise via a Nimzo and other openings. Hence my interest in it.

I think I recall having seen a book on this topic exclusively, but it seems to have vanished from the chess shops...
Anyone who knows it ? And what do you think of it ? (I try to get to know openings through middle game themes rather than move order trees, as I seem utterly unable to absorb the latter....)

Am I correct that this is the constellation of pawns that typcially arises from the Queen's Gambit Exchange?

I can confirm that there is such a book, written perhaps a decade ago by a US master.  But I don't remember the details, and I only glanced at the book some years ago.

(update:  yes, jeupham has the one i remember)
