Ther is also an interessting line: 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e5 3. dxe5 Ng4 4. Qd4 d6 5. ed Bxd6 6.Qe4+ Be6 7.Nf3? Bc5! 8.e3 Qd1+ Grin  -/+

4...d6 is definitely the right move, after 5.exd6 I think Bxd6 or Nc6 is best.  Recapturing with Qxd6 is also possible, either immediately, or after Nc6.

That was one of the major bugs in one of the old Fritz (version 3 or something) opening books. It would go Qxg7 instantly.
  

If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

Had a new encounter today...

1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e5 3. dxe5 Ng4 4. Qd4..

I tried playing Bb4+ but the whole thing didn't seem to flow well and ended up losing the game.  Any thoughts?
