Incidentally, after a break of 7 years, this has now been updated! Shocked

First of all I´d like to say that the Svesh ebook is among the best off all I´m entitled to see.

They seem to update the ebook as the new games are analysed and change recent theory.

The links to games are extremely helpful, it would be good if all updated games were linked in the ebooks, even if they´re older. But perhaps that is already happening!?

Is this eBook going to be updated after the publication of Chess Stars's forthcoming book "The Easiest Sicilian"? Just wondering, mainly out of curiosity.

Yes, I like it too! -- it goes a long way towards dispelling my nostalgia for ChessPub, which I still keep on my desktop for the fascinating variation names given in its ECO classification! I hope the new format will now be applied across the board.

I like the new format too.  The ability to jump to the games is great.

i just downloaded the ebook.. this is great, now we get to play through the ebook guides, and all one has to do to get into a game is go to the end of a variation and press Enter.

p.s. Tony, the "poisoned pawn bluff" that you covered this month looks interesting. Hope to see more , especially on that critical 8... Nc6 9. Bxf6 line Smiley

New style Sveshnikov eBook

I've done the latest playable eBook in a slightly different style, and would like to know what subscribers think of it. Now there is only one text which links to all the 'ChessPub Guides' which then link to all the games. I personally think this is more useful for a serious chessplayer, and the other advantage is they are a lot easier to produce, and update! Smiley
You can download it from the usual place: http://www.chesspublishing.com/p/4/cbebooks.htm
Opinions?
