No expert on this line (yet Wink). But isnt 11..Qa5 more logical?
You could follow up with 12..Rd8 and invasion on d3.

That would be good except for the reply 13. Ncd5 with an excellent outpost for that knight and total blockade of any invasion plans on d3.  I see no path to even equality in the 11...Qa5 route.

Yes but atm the knight is pinned, so you'd need something like 12.Kf2, which doesnt feel right to me.

If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

My experience says the best plan is to play 9.Nge2 and 10. Bf2. There is a nice example of this in Chris Ward's book about the Sämisch. White is a pawn ahead and it is not so easy for black to get counterplay for a long time. Once white can activate his bishop on f1, he has the choice of taking the initiative (possibly by giving the pawn back) or to hold the pawn and prepare for the endgame.

Shocked Sorry, I forgot to say that prior to Bf2, you have to exchange the queen's (7.dxc5-dxc5 8.Qxd8-Rxd8 9. Bxc5), either it has no sense

Yusupov once said that “The problem with the Dutch Defence is that later in many positions the best move would be ...f5-f7” but he is surely wrong.

Drawing line in 6...c5 Saemisch?

I recently had a game that went this way:

1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 4. e4 d6 5. f3 O-O 6. Be3 c5 7. dxc5 dxc5 8. Bxc5
Nc6 9. Be3 Nd7 10. Nge2 Nde5 11. Nf4 Na5 12. Qa4 Bd7 13. Qb4 Rc8 (Gallagher in Play the KID says this line offers good compensation for black) 14. c5 Nac6 15. Qa3
Na5 16. Qb4 Nac6 17. Qa3 Na5
18. Qb4 Draw

I usually play the KID so as to have at least a chance at a win, but this line w/ 13...Rc8 looks like a drawing line at best.  This particular opponent nearly always plays this line against the 6...c5 Saemisch.  It keeps the Queens on the board and offers white nice queen-side attacking chances.  Any ideas on a better line in this version of the Saemisch?  My best guess is to play 8...Qc2 or ...8...Nfd7 in this particular line for a better chance at a win.
