What IS attractive for black is 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 g6 3.d4 cd4: 4.Nd4: Nf6 5.Nc3 g6(!) when he has transposed to a real dragon having avoided several anti-sicilians (e.g. 3.Bb5+) and the dreaded Maroczy!

I assume you mean 5...d6.

White can deviate with 3.c3 or 3.c4 (for example) to avoid the transposition.

Is good for white. Does anybody have any games in database?

White could go for a Yugoslav-attack-like position with f3 and Qd2 prior to Bc4. Black will then have to play d6 losing a tempo in comparison to the game you are refering to (where black plays an immediate d5). I also suppose that H. Steffanson strongly underestimated his opponent and tried to go too fast.

But when white play f3, black can already play d5! And on Qd2 he can play Ng4!

You are right! I now know why I never play 1.e4 Embarrassed

I wonder why on Earth Stefansson didn't play the natural 6. e5.  For instance if 6...Ng8 7. f4 d6, we have a Levenfish attack where after 6...Bg7 7. e5 Black, instead of the usually recognized as best 7...Nh5, has played the stunning novelty 7...Ng8.

Or if 6. e5 Ng8 7. f4 Nc6, it's like an Accelerated Dragon where White hasn't had to make the concession Nxc6 in order to get in e5.

Hi there!
What do You think about line :
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 g6 3.d4 cd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6(!?) 5.Nc3 Bg7
Is this good for black? How white can fight for advantage ?

Even GM had a problem with this line :
