Interesting question: books haven't quite caught up with the Slow Slav's burst of popularity yet, and I think some Colle books (e.g. Lane's?) omit moves like 3...Bf5 and 3...Bg4 altogether. You should definitely have a look at Richard Palliser's Starting Out: The Colle, where this is discussed. On the position after 4 c4 c6, the Kramnik-Topalov world championship games are indeed a must-study for 5 Nc3 e6 6 Nh4 (definitely the way to go for White), and Shirov's DVD of best games in the Slav and Semi Slav has handy analysis of his game v Fressinet in this line. I believe it's covered from Black's viewpoint in David Vigorito's new book Play the Semi Slav, but I haven't seen that yet. Have a look out for Volkov's games too - he plays similar things from the Black side too and can be quite instructive.

The insight that most of these D-viations boil down to a Slav reversed does help a lot.

I been trying out the Colle recently, and that is the response I get the most (ok I know, it is one of the most reconmended) is the above, and I want to really fight it.
