Modern Italian - annotated game sources?

Hello.

I'm thinking of taking up the modern Italian lines (i.e. 4.c3 Nf6 5.d3) as a less theoretical, yet strategically similar, alternative to the Ruy Lopez. I usually try to collect information from many different sources before playing a new opening.

So, are there any good books out there for understanding these lines? Specifically, does anybody know to what extent this is covered in Bologan's game collection? He seems to have played it quite a bit.
