Yes, doesn't Lalic miss the Quigley bust?

Nunn and Harding book was a great book in its time; still lots of good analysis in there, but it is dated.

Harding CD is excellent and, imo, best thing to get.  Only problem is that the CD doesn't cover all the ways that White can avoid the Marshall, so you still need something about 8.a4. 8.h3.

Don't forget the quite tricky 8.d4.

Sorry to disappoint you but  Lalic's offering is rather poor.

There's a CD by Harding from 2002 called "Total Marshall" that everyone raves about.

Harding: http://www.chesscafe.com/text/hansen36.pdf
Lalic: http://www.chesscafe.com/text/hansen56.pdf

More by Harding: http://www.chesscafe.com/text/kibitz129.pdf

Don't check me with no lightweight stuff.

I am interested in learning the Marshall Attack.  I have purchased Lalic's excellent book and am also subscribed to this site.  I've heard good things about Nunn and Harding's book from 1990.

What do people think about it?

I know that it is well out of date but the ideas are will be the same and it might be good to have a look at some splendid attacks from black - which may now be refuted - but will at least inspire me and give me an indication of the potential in black's opinion.
