Yes, me too! For playing online Fritz 9 was better! The only thing I like in Fritz 11 is the tactical training that was my sugestion to Chessbase one year ago and I see it as a part of me, but if they don´t do an update in software design to clean these annoying light yellow squares when we are playing, in the future I choose Rybka!  Angry

Hmm, I'm worried about taking any Chessbase updates now in case they disable stuff I want and put stuff in that I don't and can't turn off  Smiley

Those who want to go by my perverse footsteps play such pawn structure with fuzzy atypical still strategic orientations

Sorry, but I was talking about Fritz 11 (English version) and these circles and light yellow squares have nothing to do with any of the tools - options. I sent a mail to technical support of Chessbase and they told me they will see this problem. It is not a question for any option but an error in software design that do not happen for example in Fritz 9! I use this program long time ago.

These were already appearing in Fritz10, and I complained back when that came out, but apparently you just can't turn them off!!

I noticed that if we did not use the drag and drop for moving the chess pieces and use the click, the anouing circles and light yellow squares do not have time to appear! But of course, the most natural way to play in blitz is to use drag and drop because the other way we need to click lots of times in the start square and destination during the same game  Angry

I hope this changes in the future...

But my question about Fritz 11 (English version) is this: How can we delete the circles arround the pieces and the light yellow square in destination? That is annoying when we play and do not happens for exemple in Fritz 9!

Yes, that happens because when we delete some old version of Fritz, we delete all the upgrades. When one enters CB9, one needs to try to access playchess from there and then after doing the online upgrade, Fritz 11 will appear as an engine inside CB9. It is not intuitive and requires some experience with the program.

But my question about Fritz 11 (English version) is this: How can we delete the circles arround the pieces and the light yellow square in destination? That is annoying when we play and do not happens for exemple in Fritz 9! The circles arround the pieces and light yellow squares, are always in Fritz and when playing online the circles disapear but the annoying light yellow squares (according to the choosed board) remain! I sent an email to Chessbase support about this and I wait for another upgrade!  Roll Eyes

Sorry, can't help - I only use F11 in CB. But at a guess, is there not something under Tools you can untick, like Coach for example?

Problem solved.
It required an update and some zipping and unzipping, and is certainly not intuitive.
If anyone else faces the same problem, I may just about be able to help!

If you are running CB9 it should be possible to add it (others will know how) - but you can't add Fritz 10 or higher as an engine in CB8 - something they should make clear before purchase imho.

I have got CB9 but I don't know how to add it - the Help says it should happen automatically!

FRITZ 11 - HELP!

I bought F11 yesterday. It installed perfectly normally but I have a problem in that I only want it as an analysis engine in ChessBase. But when I start up CB, F11 is not among the kibitzer engines. CB Help is no help - it merely states that CB-format engines installed on a computer will automaticlaly be added to CB! The odd thing is that in F11, the kibitzers include Junior 10 and Fritz 9, which are installed on my computer and are kibitzers in CB. Any ideas?
